The Pentax ME features aperture priority automatic, with electronic focal plane shutter (8-1/1000 sec.) and electronic flash sync at 1/100. Metal shutter curtains travel vertically. Typically, user cannot manually select shutter speeds, but an exposure compensation dial by the rewind crank allows -/+ 2 stops.
