The Leica R3 was a 35mm SLR camera by Leica and the first model of their R series. Released in 1976, it was a successor to the Leicaflex SL2 and developed in collaboration with Minolta. Featuring a Copal CLS electronic focal plane shutter, it was exclusively available for Leica and Minolta.
