The AE-1 Program is a 35mm SLR camera featuring Canon's FD mountlenses. First released in 1981, it succeeded the AE-1 after a 5-year gap. It introduced ProgramAE mode, which automatically sets both shutter speed and aperture with minor emphasis on shutter speed. It also retains auto-exposure and manual modes.
